The Consumer Product Safety Commission posted a recall on its website for Bluworld/Nu-Flame wall-mounted fireplaces due to a potential fire hazard. The Bluworld/Nu-Flame Vivo and Vivido wall-mounted fireplaces have been recalled due to a fire or burn hazard caused by overfilling or spilling fuel while attempting to refill fireplace fuel cups.

If the units are refilled while the fuel cup is in place, the fuel cup can be ejected from the fireplace, posing a fire or burn hazard to the user, bystanders or items nearby.

If you own one of these products, stop using it immediately and contact Bluworld/Nu-Flame toll-free at (888) 499-5433 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET Monday through Friday.

If you have been injured due to defective product, contact Philadelphia product liability lawyer John Mattiacci today for a free consultation.
